round welded pipes

Round seam pipes are made from “endless” hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel strips, the thickness of which corresponds to the wall thickness of the future pipe, and the width to its circumference. The tape is passed lengthwise through a special matrix that gives it the shape of a pipe. Then follows longitudinal welding of pipes, calibration, cutting to the required length, normalization, sorting and packaging. These pipes have a wide field of application. They are used in the production of metal haberdashery, for general needs in mechanical engineering, locksmith production, the auto industry, in steel constructions, the agricultural industry, making scaffolding structures, furniture production, and the like.

Rectangular welded pipes

Rectangular seam pipes are made from “infinite” hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel strips, the thickness of which corresponds to the wall thickness of the future pipe, and the width to its circumference.

Galvanized round pipes

Galvanized pipes are resistant to corrosion. We offer galvanized pipes with a socket and thread (thicker wall), which are mainly used in plumbing work, and pipes with a straight end (thinner wall), which are used in the construction of greenhouses, traffic sign posts, etc.

Round seamless pipes

The technological process of manufacturing seamless steel pipes consists of three steps: manufacturing a hollow body (sleeve), manufacturing a pipe from the sleeve, and the final operation.

The most famous procedure for obtaining a hollow body is the so-called Mannesmann process using a pair of double conical rollers rotating in the same direction. A red-hot steel ingot is passed between these rollers, which, in addition to the rotational movement, also has a translational (straight-line) motion caused by the mutually inclined position of the rollers.

These two movements cause the metal to separate in the middle of the ingot. A mandrel enters the resulting opening, so that the wall of the sleeve is rolled between the mandrel and the rollers. The sleeves processed in this way are then rolled into seamless tubes after reheating, whereby the walls are thinned and the tubes are elongated at the same time.

The process is performed using calibrated rollers and mandrels. The distance between the rollers determines the outer diameter of the pipe, and the diameter of the mandrel determines the inner diameter. The final operations consist of reducing the pipe by rolling, calibrating, straightening, cutting and packaging.

Seamless pipes are also known as “gas pipes”, because they are mainly designed for the flow of various fluids. They withstand higher loads, have better mechanical properties and a high degree of safety.

Square Welded Pipes

Square seam pipes are made from “infinite” hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel strips, the thickness of which corresponds to the wall thickness of the future pipe, and the width to its circumference. The tape is passed lengthwise through a special matrix that gives it the shape of a tube.

Hydro-tested pipes

These are black seam pipes which, as the name suggests, have been hydrotested to a pressure of 50 bar. Therefore, they can be used for fluid flow in smaller systems and installations.

ZP Profiles

ZP profiles or profiles for construction locksmithing are made in all possible forms, thus meeting the special requirements of designers. Euro-metal offers ZP-L, ZP-T and ZP-Z profiles. They are characterized by high dimensional precision for locksmith production. They have a good surface condition, which provides a suitable basis for the application of protective coatings against corrosion.
